Makeup:
Crazy Horse Stone is a form of limestone that generally has a greyish shade with streaks of pink, purple, brown and black. The Crazy Horse Stone I use is coated with a clear epoxy. A version of Wild Horse Stone is also sometimes called Crazy Horse Stone, but this stone is made of magnesite and hematite (not the limestone base used in my jewelry).
Limestone is a rock made primarily of calcium carbonate. For more information about limestone, check out geology.com.
Hardness:
Crazy Horse Stone measures a 3 on the Moh's Hardness Scale. This means that the stone is between the hardness of a fingernail and a copper penny.
